Edward Burgoa is currently attending Fullerton College, completing his general education coursework. He is eager and passionate about helping people with special needs. Edward’s younger brother, who is on the Autism Spectrum, has been one of the biggest inspirations and a major influence in his decision to work within the field of autism. Throughout his time in high school he was very involved with school clubs that helped outreach to children with special needs. Whether it was after school activities such as tutoring or doing arts and crafts, he was there to lend a hand. Edward has also continued to be a dedicated volunteer and is always willing to help the organization TACA (Talking About Curing Autism) with any services that they offer. Edward also participates in events held by Autism Speaks and continues to attend these events when possible. Edward will continue his educational endeavors to achieve an Occupational Therapy degree, where he will continue to help people with special needs.
In his free time he enjoys traveling, being outdoors, exercising, and enjoys the occasional video game.
