Working with children is a passion of Katherine’s and she has several years of experience helping them in the home, school, and clinical setting. She first became interested in working with children with special needs after volunteering at a horse stable that specialized in hippotherapy in 2009. She continued with volunteering at a pediatric therapy clinic, assisting occupational therapists. Since then, she has continued to work in helping children with autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy.
Katherine enjoys working for Autism Behavior Services, Inc. because every family she has had the pleasure of working for has made her job rewarding. She loves teaching through playing and crafting activities that suit the child’s individual needs.
During her free time, Katherine likes spending time with her husband and son and baking.
