Salvador Sotelo

Salvador Sotelo is a south Orange County native. He grew up participating in sports such as Rugby, Soccer, and Boxing. On his time off, he volunteered in various settings where he learned valuable communication and customer service skills. He participated in his high school’s Best Buddies club where he met individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Salvador comes from an educational background having worked as an Instructional Assistant for a local school district in a moderate to severe Autism Specific classroom. Salvador has training and experience in applied behavior analytic methodologies such as Discrete Trial Training and shaping procedures and also has learned about the Picture Exchange Communication System, Adapted Physical Education teaching strategies, as well as effective Cognitive Behavioral Therapy methods for one to one and group settings.
Salvador’s studies are in Kinesiology, with a concentration in Teacher Education with a focus in Adapted Physical Activity and Motor Learning.
